'Praxis' is a meditation in the space of dis/integration, dis/continuity, and displacement. Calling upon disruptive and dissident materiality while maneuvering absence, blur, and rupture, solYchaski operate in a tradition of loss and disappearance, imagining new worlds from the ruins of memory.
We are solYchaski. solYchaski (@solychaski) is a duo comprised of Chaski (they/them) and Sol de la Ciudad (she/her). Their practice originates in the state of being taught and affected by dissolving materials and the disobedient multitude. Their values are informed by trans disconformity, collaboration, audiovisual research, and prison abolition.
